Sassy Scrubs Featured In Kids Museum

Sassy Scrubs’ unique Kid's Scrubs have been featured by a museum in Olympia, Washington, in their interactive Dental Health exhibit. The Hands On Children’s Museum in this bayside city needed some children’s scrub uniforms to allow visiting children to play the part of authentic, although miniature, dental professionals.
Kathy Irwin, Exhibits Manager at the museum, states “Our exhibit parallels Dental Health Month every year and we leave it up for 3-4 months. Local dental professionals come and donate their time doing free dental screenings for children with little resources.” The exhibit features a tooth fairy dental theme, with a play reception, waiting area, dental examine facility, and tooth fairy home including costumes, wings, scrubs, lab coats, wands, and an actual peek at the real tooth fairy sleeping by day.

Sassy Scrubs produces their scaled down version of scrubs uniforms called “Kids Scrubs” and “our multiple sizing was perfect for the museum”, states Sassy Scrubs President, Karen Bradley. The museum ordered several sizes to accommodate children of all ages. Bradley states “The museum ordered their Kids Scrubs in dental prints featuring the tooth fairy, so they were just perfect for this purpose.” We hope the fun experience may encourage the kids to consider careers in the field of dentistry, where, perhaps, they’ll be wearing the full size version of Sassy Scrubs!

Unfortunately, Sassy Scrubs is no longer able to carry Kids Scrubs due to the prohibitive regulations enacted by the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act of 2008.
